We  customize itineraries to your specifications and personal desires.   We arrange for all accommodations, access fees and we make all other reservations as needed.  We design tours that involve cars, trucks, four-wheel drive vehicles, vans and special transportation needs.

The headlines of "The Arizona Republic" on Saturday, May 26, 2007 reads: "To really see Arizona, let a guide lead".  In the article, the Republic recommends that you maximize your travel investment by hiring a guide.  No matter where you travel in the Western United States, "there is a guide with the knowledge, skills and passion to show you the way."

Some of our guides have been providing tours to this area for over twenty years.  We have guides available who specialize in particular areas of interest such as photography, anthropology, archaeology, geology, Native Americans, and backpacking wilderness adventures.  We also have foreign language guide interpreters available.

ABOUT THE SOUTHWEST

Northern Arizona, Northern New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado all have distinctive four seasons with spectacular fall colors. The desert areas of Arizona, New Mexico and California have less distinctive seasons. All of the high country of the Southwest and West can get large quantities of snow in the winter and nice cooling thunder showers in the summer, yet some areas average over 348 days with the sun shinning. The average high daytime summer temperature in Flagstaff Arizona and at the south rim of the Grand Canyon is about 76 degrees. The average high "winter" desert temperature is about the same. Taking one of our Grand Canyon Tours in the winter off-season can be especially beautiful with fresh fallen snow, and much less crowded!  This is also true of Bryce and Zion Canyons in southern Utah.

Photography oriented tours and workshops are available from all our west USA site locations.   We have a number of professional photographers available for our custom photo tours who have been shooting the great Southwest USA for many years.  They know all the most scenic locations and the best times of day to be in each location.  For more tour information, go to Photography Tours.

SPECIAL INTEREST TOURS

We also do Custom Private Tours for select groups such as entertainers, actors, movie producers, artists and photographers. We can also organize outdoor oriented tours that involve hiking, backpacking, overnight camping; rafting on both smooth and white-water rivers; downhill and cross-country skiing and mountain biking tours.

We also offer private personal tours that are luxury oriented with custom itineraries using luxury vehicles or sport utility vehicles.  We offer private custom guided corporate class tours and transportation.
