"WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW"
About our motorcoach
tours of the West and Southwest USA
WHAT'S USUALLY INCLUDED
Accommodations
Accommodations are always selected on the basis
of quality, location, cleanliness, dining facilities, and the warm hospitality
of their management and staff. We believe you will be delighted with
our selections.
In the National Parks and in some peak season locations, accommodations may be somewhat rustic, but their location gives you the opportunity to more easily view the splendor of the parks and other undeveloped areas. Service staffs in National Park facilities are often part-time employees who are relatively inexperienced. Their service may not compare to our choice of hotels in other locations. Lodge amenities in National Park facilities may also not compare to our hotel choices in other locations.
Room assignments are always made by the hotel / motel in an impartial manner. Requests for king-size beds and connecting rooms need to be made when booking your tour, or at least 30 days prior to departure. We try to honor all requests but in some hotels and locations special requests cannot always be honored.
Almost all of our hotels have NON-SMOKING rooms ONLY. If you or someone in your group smokes in your non-smoking room, significant fees of as much as $500 per room could be added to your tour charges.
A single person may request that they share a room. Early reservations will aid us in finding a roommate. If we are not successful, the “Single Rate” will be charged. The price per person will change if a roommate cancels.
We must be informed in advance if you or someone in your group has a disability that prevents their independence. A travel companion who will assume full responsibility for their care and mobility must accompany them.
ROOM CLASSIFICATIONS:
Single: One person with one or more beds
Couple: Two persons with a queen bed, a king bed, or two queen beds
Double: Two persons with TWO beds
Triple: Three persons with TWO beds
Quad: Four persons with TWO beds
In most locations rollaway cots are available but are not recommended for comfort. All hotel and lodge accommodations come with private baths, as well as many other amenities. Although quality may vary from place to place, we seek to provide the best rated available accommodations as requested in your group agreement.

Meals
Usually ALL meals are covered. Breakfast may be a full or a continental breakfast.
Lunches will sometimes be a box lunch due to the remoteness of many locations
and the lack of available restaurants. Dinners are taken at good quality
restaurants with three to four or more primary entree choices.
Luggage Handling
We provide free luggage handling for ONE bag per person of 45 pounds maximum.
If luggage weight exceeds 45 pounds, you may be asked to remove items to
make the weight acceptable.
Each passenger may bring one small overnight bag that will be his or her PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. It’s maximum size will be 8 inches deep, 16 inches high, and 30 inches long. Maximum weight is 20 lbs. We gladly allow storage of carry-on bags in the luggage bay nearest the coach entrance. However, the driver can only access these items when you arrive at your evening accommodations. Drivers will not be responsible for bringing these items to the rooms or for providing access to these bags until the end of the day.
