This Grand Circle Tour takes you to the most fabulous concentration of National Parks in the world, visiting all the best sites of the Southwest USA. The truly great and scenic Southwest landscape contains a fabulous concentration of National Parks, National Monuments, State Parks and National Forests. The scenery on the Colorado Plateau has an infinite beauty that is hard to imagine, much less comprehend. At every turn one sees a variety of color, scenic views, canyons, mountains, rivers, rocks, cliffs, spirals, and monuments that beckon the traveler to enjoy this circle of adventure in their own unique manner. Our Grand Circle Tour travels a loop of about 1400 miles through what we believe to be the most spectacularly scenic beauty on earth.
On this tour you will also learn about the history and culture of the first Americans and celebrate the drama of the American West. This is a spacious land with a "big sky," far from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is full of many different kinds of towering walls and ancient dwellings. It is a homeland where native people still live.
This tour travels through portions of the states of Nevada, Utah and Arizona. You visit 6 National Parks, 2 Navajo Nation Parks, 2 Utah State Parks, 2 National Monuments, 1 National Recreation Area, Glen Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, and at least 4 National Forests.
